Location: Costa Rica
Rated Output: 14kW
Turbine Type: Twin-Nozzle Pelton
This dual-nozzle Canyon
1051-2 Pelton turbine powers a 14KW synchronous generator in
Costa Rica. A variable needle nozzle makes it possible to
adjust for changes in stream Flow without shutting down the
turbine. The turbine intake was custom designed to fit in an
existing powerhouse.

Location: Northern California
Rated Output: 5kW
Turbine Type: Twin-Nozzle Pelton
Proud owner with portions of his crew, toasting the successful startup of his 5KW hydroelectric system. This installation serves a home located in a remote area of northern California.
Location: Panama
Rated Output: 40kW
Turbine Type: Crossflow
This Canyon variable flow Crossflow turbine uses belt-drive coupling to a Marathon 40 KW synchronous generator. It is currently supplying power to a coffee processing plant in the Republic of Panama.
Location: Papua New Guinea
Rated Output: 100kW
Turbine Type: Crossflow
Canyon turbines and systems often supply power to remote communities. This 100 KW Canyon Crossflow turbine supplies power to a mountain village and school in Papua New Guinea.
Location: Western Oregon, USA
Rated Output: 30kW
Turbine Design: Dual Twin-Nozzle Peltons
Lucien Gunderman stands next to his four-jet, twin turbine system. Located in the Willamette valley in Western Oregon, both turbines run one 30KW induction generator, which is electrically interfaced with the utility grid.
Location: Wyoming, USA
Rated Output: 10kW
Turbine Design: Twin-Nozzle Pelton
This Canyon 6010-2 Pelton turbine is installed at a Wyoming ranch and generates 10KW. It is a combination system, capable of stand-alone and grid-interfaced operation.
Location: Colorado, USA
Rated Output: 18kW
Turbine Design: Twin-Nozzle Pelton
A dual-nozzle Canyon 751-2 Pelton turbine and 18KW Marathon generator ready to ship to Colorado.
Location: Washington State, USA
Rated Output: 11kW
Turbine Design: Single-Nozzle Pelton
This 9513 single nozzle turbine is used in a grid-parallel configuration with a utility in Washington State, and produces 11KW under 165 feet of head. It was fitted with a custom deflector actuator to allow automatic restart after utility outages. The manually adjusted needle nozzle allows the turbine to operate efficiently with varying flow rates.
